For lease and warewash chemical companies

Commercial dish machine service records for lease and chemical companies

DishRoute Log is a service record system for dish machine lease and warewash chemical companies that keeps every machine by restaurant, every chemical delivery, every service visit and every temperature check in one place.

Free for 15 restaurants. Paid plans from $29 a month.

On the office phone

What the office has to look up today

  1. 01

When was the machine at Harbor Grill last checked, and what was the final rinse?

Open the restaurant. Each dish machine shows its last check and, under it, every wash temperature, final rinse temperature and sanitizer ppm reading ever logged.

  2. 02

Which restaurants are overdue for a visit?

The dashboard lists them with the days overdue, worked out from each account's visit interval and the next-visit date the technician set last time.

  3. 03

Is that account using twice the detergent it should?

Deliveries are logged by product, restaurant and month, so a pump set too high shows up as a number that doubled.

  4. 04

Did that customer stop ordering from us?

Active restaurants with no chemical delivery for 45 days are listed as gone quiet, before the account is lost.

  5. 05

Which machine did we put in at the Corner Cafe, and is it ours?

Every machine is recorded with make, model, serial, high temp or low temp, leased or customer-owned, and its installed and removed dates.

  6. 06

The substitute technician is covering a route. What is on that machine?

Any technician can look up any restaurant on the route: its machines, how each one sanitizes, its minimum rinse temperature and the kitchen contact.

The log your technicians fill in

A reading below the minimum can't be saved as a pass

Enter each machine's minimum final rinse temperature or sanitizer ppm once. After that, a technician or a kitchen manager who types a 171°F rinse on a 180°F machine is told to mark it a fail and write what was done about it.

  • Failed checks land on the dashboard for the week, with the corrective action beside them.
  • Technician and kitchen readings sit in one list, labelled by who took them.
  • Print or export a restaurant's whole service history when the inspector or the owner asks.

Who can see what

A different view for the owner, the office, the technician and the kitchen

A restaurant manager sees only their own restaurant. A technician logs work only where they are assigned, but can look up any restaurant when covering for someone.

Free printable dish machine temperature log

A blank log sheet for the kitchen, or a login so you see it too

Print the wash, final rinse and sanitizer ppm sheet and tape it beside the machine. Or give the kitchen manager a Fleet login and the daily log lands in the same record as your technician's readings.

Pricing

Free to start, $29 or $59 a month as the route grows

Visits, deliveries, checks and exports are unlimited on every plan. Only the number of restaurants and logins grows. Pay by the year and two months are free.

Good to know

What lease companies and kitchens ask us

What is a dish machine lease program?

A chemical or janitorial company places a commercial dish machine in a restaurant, bar or school kitchen, often leased or free with a chemical contract, supplies the detergent, rinse aid and sanitizer on a route, and sends a technician on a schedule to check temperatures, sanitizer strength and pumps. DishRoute Log is the record of that program: which machine is where, what was delivered and what was found on each visit.

What should a dish machine temperature log record?

The wash temperature, the final rinse temperature and, on a low temp machine, the sanitizer concentration in ppm, with the date, who took the reading and what was done about a failure. The FDA Food Code sets the final rinse at the manifold at 165°F for a stationary rack single-temperature machine and 180°F for other high temp machines, and chemical sanitizer strength follows the product label. Check your machine's data plate and your local health code, then enter that minimum on the machine so a low reading cannot be saved as a pass.

Can a restaurant keep its own daily temperature log?

Yes, on the Fleet plan. Give a kitchen manager a login to their restaurant only. They log the daily check, see the technician's readings and service history, and export their log as a CSV for the health inspector. A kitchen without a login can print the free dish machine temperature log sheet.

How is this different from field service software such as Jobber?

Field service tools are built around quotes, jobs and invoices, from $49 a month for one user. They have no place for a dish machine's make, serial and ownership, or for a chemical drop per product per month. DishRoute Log records exactly those, and leaves invoicing to your accounting software.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Technicians open it in the phone's browser, with nothing to install, and log a visit, a delivery or a check from the kitchen. Every page is built to fit a 375 pixel wide screen.

What happens to my records if I stop paying?

You drop back to the Free plan. Your restaurants, machines and history stay, you can add up to 15 restaurants, and only the owner login works until you pick a plan again. The CSV export works on every plan.
